Demons and Horned Demons are level 4 creatures of Inferno. They are recruited from the Demon Gate. Demons can also be summoned by Pit Lords from dead allied stacks.

Some may find the information in this section subjective or irrelevant.

They are very cost-effective units, although quite slow and rather weak. You can gather large numbers of them using the Demon herding tactic (see Pit Fiend). Not upgrading them makes more room for your hero's army, since you can't stack demons generated by pit lords with horned demons, unlike skeletons and skeleton warriors with Necromancy. This can work well with Marius, since she not only improves demons' strength and speed to make them more effective in combat, but also makes them less penalizing to transport on the adventure map.
