Crew Mates and Seamen are the level 2 creatures of Cove. They can be recruited from the Shack. Building the Pub increases crew mate and seaman growth by +4 per week.

"No captain sail on without a crew. Especially if it's a Regnan captain. He takes the most desperate daredevils in his crew, with which not only pleasant to drink with, but can freely plunder ships. The most seasoned Crew mates become experienced Seamen that go to dangerous sea adventures or smuggle." HotA Facebook post

Some may find the information in this section subjective or irrelevant.

Very underwhelming tier 2 walkers. They outclass Walking Dead in almost every category, but it's not enough to save them from mediocrity. Your money is better spent on Ayssids and Sea Dogs. Though they can be a quite good backup for you shooters or finish wounded enemies.
